The Stanford SmartDatingProgram ©

Not a dating service, quick fix, or magic plan for attracting romance, the SSDP is like a boot camp for dating. The short eight week course begins with an inward look at where you are with your dating attitudes, behaviors, expectations and reservations. You’ll examine your past relationship history to determine what you’ve done right and what you’ve done wrong. You’ll learn new skills for working through the self-defeating behaviors, poor choices, social anxiety, and diminished self-image that have held you back in the past. Then you will learn to develop and implement clear, realistic and obtainable goals to enhance your social life. You owe it to yourself to break the cycle of futility and put yourself on the track to success!
Once this foundation is established, you’ll launch into the outward focused half of the program that concentrates on meeting new people and making new friends while engaging in personally fulfilling social activities. The concepts of self-respect, honesty, compassion and respect for self and others will permeate and drive your participation in these activities. You’ll learn how to increase the number of dates you’ll have on the path toward meeting that special someone.
SSDP is designed and led by Bill Colagrande, a licensed Psychotherapist and author for over twenty-five years and is laid out along academic lines. There are a series of self tests to help you focus on your strengths and improve your weaknesses in social interactions. There are easy to complete, fun and sometimes challenging homework assignments that provide you with an in-depth look at your unique qualities and attributes. There is an ongoing series of suggestions and tips throughout the course that serve as food for thought and jumping off points for creating a happier, healthier you.
The $499 cost for the course includes eight hours of instruction plus all texts, worksheets and materials. SSDP is available via the telephone during either daytime or evening hours for your convenience.
